Enhance Your Event
The Georgia Aquarium offers lots of exciting choices to really make your event unforgettable!
Aquarium Admission
While your guests will have spectacular views of some of the Aquarium’s residents when renting parts of our facility, why not give them ALL the views? By adding Aquarium admission to your event, your guests will be free to wander all of the Aquarium’s exhibits, and view animals from all over the world.
The Georgia Aquarium offers timed ticketing, and we often reach capacity on weekends or holidays. Please speak to your catering manager to discuss availability and to make reservations.
NEW Event Dive Program
Have a diver welcome your guests from inside Ocean Voyager! The Aquarium’s new state-of-the-art sound system will allow our diver to talk to your guests directly from our 6.3 million gallon Ocean Voyager exhibit. This program is approximately 20 minutes long and costs $750.00 per dive. Ask your sales manager how to add this exciting program to your next event.Deepo’s Undersea 3D Wondershow
The Georgia Aquarium is proud to have Deepo’s Undersea 3D Wondershow, presented by AT&T. This 3D animated film is enhanced to a 4D experience with live actors and other “sense-sational” surprises during the show. Each showing lasts about 20 minutes and teaches conservation in a fun and engaging way. It is appropriate for all ages!
Tickets are $3.00 per person when purchased as part of your event package for both children and adults.
Evening events:
If you are hosting an Atrium and Exhibits or Aquarium-wide function in the evening, shows can run every 30 minutes, and each show can accommodate up to 250 guests. Generally the first show will start 30 minutes after your event begins, and the last show will begin 30 minutes before your event ends. Your guaranteed number of guest for food and beverage will be your guaranteed number for the 3D movie, unless the total capacity of the shows is less than your guarantee. If you are hosting a ballroom-only function, the 3D movie is a flat fee of $750 per show, regardless of the number of actual attendees. Your guests will access the 4D Theater via the Education loop and will not have access to the Aquarium floor.
Daytime Events:
If you are hosting a daytime function in one of our ballrooms, why not make the 3D movie a part of your guests’ experience? We can provide ticket vouchers that your guests can exchange for movie tickets for any regularly scheduled show that has available seats during your admission time. Shows take place every 30 minutes during normal operating hours.
Deepo Appearances
The Georgia Aquarium’s mascot and star of his own 3D movie, Deepo, can make an appearance at your event. Deepo can mix and mingle with your guests and provide them with a great opportunity for family photos.
The cost to have Deepo at your event is $250 per hour. During that hour, Deepo will make two appearances for about 15-20 minutes each. In between, Deepo will take a rest. Deepo is available during the day and in the evening, but can only appear at one event at a time. Please check with your catering manager regarding availability.
Souvenir Guidebooks
The Georgia Aquarium offers souvenir guidebooks at $2 each. This wonderful collectible provides detailed information about our exhibits and animals in addition to a map of the facility.
Parking
The Georgia Aquarium does have onsite parking, provided by Lanier Parking Systems. Our lot is located on the corner of Luckie Street and Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard with entrances on both streets. You have several options for parking for your guests.
If you would like to cover the cost of parking, this will be billed to your master bill, based on consumption. Master bill parking is $7 per car, and you will be provided with a PDF coupon via email. Each guest must have this coupon upon entering the garage.
If you prefer that your guests pay for their own parking, we can still offer the $7 per car rate, and a PDF coupon will be sent to you via email for distribution to your guests.
If you prefer not to distribute coupons to your guests, they will pay a flat $10 parking rate.
At this time, the Georgia Aquarium does not offer valet parking.
Coat/Baggage Check
The Georgia Aquarium can provide coat/baggage check for your guests through our partner, Connie’s Coat Check. Please speak with your catering manager to discuss pricing and restrictions. The deadline for ordering coat check is 10 business days before your event.

Audio/Visual services at the Georgia Aquarium are provided by our partner Active Production and Design. Active is a full service AV company and can provide everything your event needs, whether it’s a simple podium set or a full stage production. Aquarium Presenters/Speakers
Looking for a unique way to engage your guests? How about a speaker from among the Aquarium’s diverse staff? Whether it’s general Aquarium information or topics geared to your audience or business, the Georgia Aquarium can offer a wealth of information to your guests.
While there is no charge for a guest speaker, the Aquarium does request a donation to the 4R program. A suggested donation will be requested and will vary depending on days of the week, time of day, length of presentation and whether a PowerPoint presentation is required. Please note that the Georgia Aquarium does not provide audio visual, and if you will have a guest speaker, you will need to make arrangements for a podium and microphone or other equipment as needed with Active Production and Design.
Behind the Scenes Tours
Behind the scenes tours are a very special way to have your guests experience the Georgia Aquarium. Tours are available both at daytime and evening events. During the day, these book in advance to the public, so space is limited. Please check with your sales representative regarding ticket availability. The cost of a behind the scenes tour is $50 per person, plus the cost of admission. Each tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and has a maximum of 20 guests. No children under five are permitted to take part. Only one tour takes place at any given time. Exact areas visited may differ at times due to animal concerns or scheduled maintenance work. Once reserved, tour tickets are not refundable, and you will be charged based on the number of tickets you reserved. For daytime events, should your numbers increase, we can not guarantee additional tickets will be available.
Daytime:
During the day, behind the scenes tours take place every hour on the hour during regular operating hours. As these tours are also available to the general public and are made available for sale in advance, limited tickets may be available. All tour guests will meet their guide upstairs at the lighthouse and will be returned there at the end of their tour.Evening:
In the evening, tours must be scheduled. There will be one tour guide for every twenty guests and ideally, if there are more than 20 people participating, the tours should be staggered to begin about every 20-25 minutes. The tour guides will meet your guests in your ballroom and return them there at the end of the tour.
Retail Shop
Paradies runs the retail shops at the Georgia Aquarium. If you purchase Aquarium admission for your guests, they will be able to access the shop during the admission portion of your event until 6 p.m. If you have either an Aquarium buyout or an Atrium and Exhibits function, the Beyond the Reef gift shop may be open for your guests. Please ask your catering manager for restrictions.
Souvenirs/giveaways
Looking for a unique gift for your attendees? The Georgia Aquarium and its partner, The Paradies Shops, can provide you with a sea of choices.
Gift Cards
Want to provide a gift but don’t know what they want? How about a Georgia Aquarium Gift Card? This can be used by your guests the same day during their admission for food, drinks, movie tickets or gifts in our shops. On a future date, these can be used to purchase admission or even pay for parking!
