• Never release your aquarium pets into streams, rivers and lakes.
• Learn to recognize unfamiliar plants and animals that might look out of place.
• Avoid transporting nuisance species.
• Take an active role in your community through education, understanding and implementing positive methods for protecting your environment against nuisance species.
