Sponsored Admissions
Georgia Aquarium developed the Sponsored Education Admissions (SEA) Program in an effort to ensure that diverse audiences, regardless of economic status, have an opportunity to participate in these unique educational experiences at a reduced rate, or in some cases, free of charge. Through the generous contributions of local and national individuals, foundations and corporations, the Aquarium is able to provide Title I schools (Pre-K - 12) and nonprofit organizations serving Title I children, located within the state of Georgia, an opportunity to experience innovative educational programs designed to amuse and englighten.
Qualifications:
- Title 1 school (K-12) located in Georgia for Learning Loop and Aqua Adventures Education programs;
- Title 1 Pre-K school located in Georgia;
- Non-profit organization located in Georgia serving Title 1 students;
- Need for financial assistance;
- Attendance at scheduled orientation (for Learning Loop and Aqua Adventures Education Programs);
- Desire to learn more about the aquatic realm!
Application Process
The deadline for submitting 2009-2009 Sponsored Education Admission application is Friday, February 13, 2009 for schools.
If selected, you will be notified within two weeks of receiving your application. The number of schools selected to receive sponsored admissions will be based on the availability of funds.
School Groups:

Complete Sections I and III only.

Fax completed application to (404) 581-4199, Attention: Sponsored Education Admissions. Within two weeks, you will be notified of the status of your application via email. If your date selections are not available, you will be given alternative dates from which to select via email

General Admission (Nonprofit organizations and Pre-K Title I schools)
Pelase note: Do not make a reservation if you intend to apply for Sponsored Education Admission. Your deposit will not be refunded should your application be accepted.
The availability of funds will determine the number of schools and/or organization selected to received sponsored admission.
